Precept Design regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our customers. The following privacy policy applies to all Precept Design users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards.

While every attempt is made to provide accurate and up-to-date information on this website, Precept Design does not guarantee its accuracy. Views expressed on websites linked to and from this website are the views of the respective website owners or contributors and are not necessarily views held by Precept Design.
Links on the Precept Design site to external entities are not covered within this policy. The terms and conditions set out in this privacy statement only cover the domain name www.preceptdesign.com.au and it's secure domain https://preceptdesign.worldsecuresystems.com.

Collection of Information

In order to use the Precept Design website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible.
All correspondence collected by Precept Design is collected via correspondence from you or your company. This may be via the telephone, Email, mail fax or directly through our website.

Use of Collection Information

Any details collected from Precept Design customers is required in order to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service.

Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.

Storage of Collection Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). When credit card details are collected we simply pass them on in order to be processed as required. We never permanently store complete Credit Card details.
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Precept Design may at its discretion use other third parties to provide essential services on our site or for our business processes. We may share your details as necessary for the third party to provide that service.

Precept Design does not share any information with third parties for any unknown or unrelated uses.


We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.

Access to Collected Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update or delete or deactivate it by emailing us at support (at) preceptdesign.com.au.


If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. You may be required to provide contact information (such as name, Email, and postal address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).
Once an order is placed by the Customer and accepted by the Company, if the Customer thereafter wishes to cancel or vary the order, the Customer shall be liable for any costs of manufacture incurred by the Company up to that point in time.


All orders for the sale of goods are accepted and goods and services as listed on any invoice are provided by Precept Design (‘the seller’) subject to the following terms and conditions only.
Delivery of goods shall be effected by the Company to the Customer:- subject to availability; and- without any liability on behalf of the Company for any delays.
Once the goods have been delivered by the Company to the site of the Customer, all risk in and to the goods shall pass to the Customer.
All orders for the sale of goods are accepted and goods and services as listed on any invoice are provided by Precept Design (‘the seller’) subject to the following terms and conditions only.

  1. Unless otherwise agreed all goods are sold ex-factory and the seller shall arrange for the delivery of goods on board the means of transport nominated by the customer.
  2. Risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer on loading onto the nominated means of transport or on delivery where freight is included by the seller.
  3. Where goods are to be delivered by installments, each installment shall be deemed to be sold under a separate contract. If the seller fails to deliver an installment within the agreed time or at all the buyer shall not be entitled to repudiate the contract with regard to any other installments remaining to be delivered. Contracts for goods backordered are firm and shall not be rescinded unless agreed in writing by the seller.
  4. Any date or time quote for delivery is an estimate only and the seller shall endeavour to effect delivery at the time or times required by the buyer but failure to do so shall not confer any right of cancellation or refusal of delivery on the buyer or render the seller liable for any loss or damages directly or indirectly sustained by the buyer as a result thereof.


All claims for any damage and/or defect in the goods purchased by the Customer must be made to the Company in writing within 3 days of delivery of the goods otherwise the goods are deemed to be received in good order and condition.


The Customer shall not be entitled to make any deduction in respect of the prices agreed to by the Company relating to any set-off or counter-claim by the Customer against the Company.


The Terms and Conditions of Trade may not be altered without our consent. Any alterations will be clearly marked and agreed to.

Your non-adherence of any of the terms set out above does not in any way constitute an acceptance on our part or a waiver of our rights. These Standard Terms of Sale will be interpreted according to the laws of New South Wales and the courts having such jurisdiction in New South Wales. If any provision of the Terms and Conditions of Trade shall at any time become void, voidable or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall nevertheless continue to be of full force and effect.
